Good old Abu Omar is finally in the area. The place serves the traditional dishes, humus and falafel, as they should be, in a traditional style. They still use the handheld machine to make falafel so you don’t get the feeling you’re in a factory and instead remember the good old days when a group of people gathered and chartered in the restaurant as they watched the “m3alem’’ dropping the falafel into the hot frying pan. I got my food and when I asked for the bill, I was shocked. Paying less than 7 or 8 dinars to feed a group of four some humus has lately become a rare occasion in Amman and I must say that paying less than 4 dinars for the food increased my appetite even more
