overall all bad experience; went yesterday for the final world cup match, we had reserved the day bedore for 10 people; we all arived early, the place was still empty with only us and another couple of girls sitting on another table. they situated us right in the middle of the resturant, with tables to our right and left literally touching backs; we kindly asked the waiter to situate us somewhere nearer to wither one of the sides as they also squeezed us all into only two tables; we had an extra of 2 people coming and u can imagine the horror... and the waiter rudly said that we had reserved only for 10. he was very rude and unprofessional. Oh and the two girls asked to change their seats he did indeed change them. Food was good but I did really enjoy my neighbor's shisha while my chair's back was stuck to their table.
The place is one of Al-Balad's oldest; It has that nice antiquity touch to it, food is tasty and the atmosphere is nice; Prices are okay if you are comparing it with other places in Amman in general; But if you are comparing it with Downtown prices in specific its a bit pricey. service is okay, but all in all its an enjoyable place.
went thee for iftar the other day with friends, slow service, they forgot one of our dishes and actually were very rude! the food is okay, and the seating is kind of crowded. I hoped for a better service from the other comments.
