The atmosphere is so cozy & the waiters are very polite. The menu is an International one with a twist. Don't miss out on their appetizers & desserts. The food is very tasty (delicious). However, you need to be patient for the food to arrive, as they cook everything on spot, so you get very fresh food.
I would definitely visit it again.
Excellent place. The people on the phone are very polite. Delivery service is not slow and the food is very clean and delicious. I liked the fact that they pay attention to their type of bread. It is flavourful and compliments the inside stuffing.
Juices are wonderful and very fresh with no milk or sugar added. They also have interesting variety of fresh juices.
Wonderful for a bite when you are hungry at the office :-)
We went there by coincidence and I was amazed with the food. We ordered only 4 items and it was really tasty. The Kubbeh was flavourful and crunchy and hot from the fryer. The Shanklish very delicious. We also ordered grilled white cheese which was good and finally the Fattet Jaaj was very different from what we are used to. They actually put in it white sauce. It is like you are eating Alfredo sauce but on a Fatteh; frankly a nice twist, though I am sure the older generation would not appreciate this :-).
Service was ok, but they could try to smile once in a while to the clients.
If you are on the go and want a healthy option, this is a good place and the prices were quite reasonable comparing to other restaurants. The portions are good too.
I went there two times and each time the experience is worse than the one before. It is chaotic, unprofessional, the employees do not seem to get along and they fault each other in front of the customers. They are unaware of what they have and what they don't have... Very simple, the store needs more professional people and I am surprised Abu Shakra would allow such behaviour!
I love Crumz in General. Delicious food. Excellent options for me, because I am allergic to eggs and they do understand the concept of allergy and even have it written on the menu (I think it is the only restaurant in Amman that says: If you have any allergens, please inform us". The greatest news I also heard is that they have created 2 types of cake without eggs & milk which will be produced during the Christian Lent. This is the first time I eat a cake from outside that has no hint of eggs in it at all. No preservatives, absolutely egg free... I of course jumped to the opportunity and tried both cakes and they are amazing!!!
But the downside, is that we went last Friday to Crumz Dabouq and we were nearly the first to arrive there. Our order came after one hour!!! Many tables got their orders before us and we complained around 3 times to the waiter that this was ridiculously taking such a long time. I do appreciate that the waiters and everyone were so polite, always had a smile on their faces, but still the fact remained that it was too slow. Even later, when we asked to wrap up left overs, it took them such a long time and they were confused where our left overs where.
Please pick it up. I loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Crumz.
I went two times. The first time it was a complete disaster bringing our order after 45 minutes and then when it finally came, it was wrong... I asked no Mayo, and still they put MAYO.
Second time: We ordered One Plain Burger; No Mayo; only the cheese and burger. The second order was Burger with NO Onions and no tomato. What did we get??? Burger with Mayo, and the other with Onions and Tomato. Are we speaking the same language??? because it appears to be not.... A note: when I returned my burger to be replaced with a NO Mayo one, they served me a regular burger and not like the one I ordered (which was large)....... I think they were hasty to correct their mistake which turned out to be a bigger mistake.
Further, I am not really digging their service. Although polite, but they are not passionate or excited... The taste is not out of the world at all, as I heard... It is less tasty than many other Burger joints that recently opened in Amman.
Frankly, I won't go again.
Mmm, I cant really make up my mind about it. I have mixed feelings. Service was good, the waiters are very friendly and they always smile which is really comforting. However, I discovered that the white dough had eggs included in its ingredients, and was quite shocked because I didn't feel there is a necessity for it. Thank God the multi cereal dough had no eggs in it. I could at least have an option to eat from.
The taste of the mana'eesh is a bit strange to the palette because the dough is sweet. I found me not really liking it but strangely it kept me going back for more... Confusion. There was something fascinating about the sweet versus savory....
Finally I think it is overpriced . It is simple, mainly Arabic breakfast with a twist, but the rates are way up there...
Maybe another visit would make up my mind...
I go into the place looking for a shoe. I found one i like on the plastic model. I ask the lady may I have my size? She says sorry this is just for display on the model.
I am puzzled really, why do they have it on display of they don't want to sell it? Its not a museum.........
The service there is outstanding and the food is top notch. From cold to hot appetizers to main course, it was absolutely amazing :-) This is a must place to try & don't ever miss their Shawerma.... YUM :-)... The waiters make you feel like Kings and Queens... Simply a wonderful place.
I went to this shop by coincidence while looking for dresses in the same building. I must say the ladies there are amazing and so helpful. They are very welcoming, very sweet and make you feel like a true customer (in all its meaning). They are very patient and are willing to go by your wishes.
The dresses are quite amazing with lots of beautiful colors and reasonably priced compared to the quality of the product (that is to say it is value for money)
I ended up buying from there of course and it was a good decision :-)
Services are picking up tremendously. I went several times after my last review and the service is no longer slow and food is delivered on time. Food as always amazing. I love this place so much. The Mana'eesh are particularly excellent. Keep it up guys :)
Loved this place as a burger joint. The Beef Burger was very tasty and unlike many burger joints I went to, this one was fresh and light. I did not feel I will fall over after I ate it. A bit pricey but compared to the market and their peers, they are on the same level.
I just want to share one experience which I was impressed by. I bought a pair of jeans and went to collect it after they shortened it for me. I discovered later that one leg was taller than the other. When I took it back, the shop was very apologetic and they advised me, that they will take care of it and deliver it to me at home. Eventually they did. Now that is service which I appreciate. :-)
And the Dilemma continues with this place. After visiting Mecca Mall's branch, I passed by the one at Taj MALL. What does Cerutti (Seemingly an Italian Name) with Italian Decorations, have anything to do with SHISHA? My mind is spinning! I think we are lost in translation....
Horrible!!! I asked for a Zaatar SAJ and I watched him prepare it... He literally put 4 drops of olive oil and then a bunch of thyme!!! It was dry and the thyme did not even taste good at all. I hate to say this, but I did not even eat half of it!!!! Never again....
I went there and we ordered Fattet Chicken, T7aalat, Chicken Liver, Allayet La7meh & Grilled White Cheese. All was great with the exception of the Fattet Chicken. I really think it could be much better. It was not hot, not cold and could be a little more thicker & the bread should be more crispy (it was soaked with the sauce). Also the Allayet with meat needed in my opinion more meat. I could hardly see the meat. Bread came a bit cold and didn't seem to be freshly baked, although another table next to us had different bread served (TABBOUN)! Weird!
The service is quite good, but they could use more smiles. While everyone was very polite, but I thought maybe a more homey service would make more of an impact, especially since the entire theme and ambience is of a family cultural historical vintage feel. At one time the waiter came and took an empty glass and hardly looked at us. As if we were invisible.
One thing I noticed about the place, it is not wheel chair accessible. They also have an amazing rooftop which serves as a cafe, but the stairs are quite steep and tall. If there are elderly people it would be difficult to reach to the top if not at all. Even when you go down the stairs, it is a bit scary.
While the bathrooms are beautiful, but they had a bad smell. I was disappointed.
Still, and with all of all these comments, this is a beautiful authentic place, loved it & its garden & food, and will always keep on going :)
I did not like this place at all. They are so slow & it took three reminders to bring the extra chair we asked for. Though it is a relatively new place, but the outdoor seating is already worn out. I liked the idea of bringing the juices in a drinking jar. Actually their food and beverage presentation is nice, but the taste of the corn soup for example was not good.
The atmosphere reflects a cultural Arabic one: from the menu to the music, to the lady usher wearing a traditional Arabic dress.... and yet when I asked about their Arabic Sweets, their advice is no no it is regular international sweets. MMM contradicting....
It definitely did not leave a good impression and I don't think I will be visiting it again.
Excellent food delivery service. We ordered Mandy, Bukhari, Kabab Hindi, & Grilled Kubbeh. The food was excellent. The spices of the rice, meat and chicken was extremely well done. The Kabab Hindi in particular was very tasty & their Dakkous Sauce was on point. They are very generous with their portions and the Syrian & Yemeni's chefs seem to know what they are doing & what kind of taste the customer is looking for. They also sent us their Warbat Sweets which were also very yummy. A definite food delivery place to order from again :-). FYI, it is reasonably priced :-)
Nice welcoming owner. If you are up for a venture outside the normal falafel you are used to, go try this shop. They have their own unique spices and it is different than what we are used to. They offer different types of breads: Regular Arabic, Sammoon Iraki, Sammoon 3adi and ka3keh. Their potato is also good. You should look into trying a Falafel sandwich + potato inside the sandwich. Quite good actually :-). Sandwich is a bit pricey compared to the other Falafel shops. 2 falafel sandwiches + potato inside them are at a price of JOD 2.250 :-)
Happy Falafel Munching :-)
I just came back from this cafe. Prior entering you are drawn by its vintage style. Their display of the coffee pots on the wall is quite nice. The taste of the coffee is quite good actually, but the service is.... I dont know what to say... They serve you coffee and let you go... No passion...
The Music was sooooo super loud I could not hear the other person talking to me, and it was POP!!!!! It conflicted with the Vintage style of the cafe... What does 2013 pop music have to do with a so called old style cafe??? It would have been nicer to hear opera or classical music or jazz or blues which would be in harmony with the cafe... Maybe closing up the space a little would help too so one is not exposed totally to the traffic of the mall & its noise. Finally tables are not spotless clean... Again no passion.
I work in an incoming travel and tourism company and I deal with Zaatarah for services to Jerusalem. They are very helpful and very informative and understand tourism & the guests' needs very well. They are experts in the Holy Land field which is the one I am involved in dealing with.
They are quite prompt and the impressive issue is that they follow up with me even if there is no quote or bookings :-)
I liked this place. I like the fact that the people there are very nice and polite. The atmosphere inside is very welcoming and it is very comfortable. I tried only the milk shake and I thought it was really good. They were also very candid on where they bring their ice-cream, which I thought was unique, since usually cafes don't answer you directly and try to avoid giving you truthful information.
I will definitely go there again.
