I love this mall! Primarily because it's new, clean, spacious, and has a new selection of shops, restaurants and cafes. It's airy and has a nice decor with a nice aquarium in the center behind the main lift which extends up to the 2nd floor. It is conveniently located so to someone living outside of the main island it's quite near, about a 15 minute drive, and parking is always available, It has a lulu department store so at last we can say bye-bye for carrefour airport road! It has many shops that are new/scarce to abu dhabi like matalan, the deal, tchibo prozente, lakeland for baking and cooking supplies n utensils, wendy's, tim horton's fredirick's of hollywood, and many more. It also has a lot of favourite shops like promod, la senza, charles n keith, sparky's theme park, mc donald's, applebees, bricco cafe, sharaf DG, daiso and many many more. You should go check it out :D
I absolutely love this mall in every aspect. From the easy parking to the shops, layout and clean airy decor. You can either park outside the mall on underground and get a lift up to the shops. The mall is spacious and well laid out so that no back tracking is required to see every store. The central lobby is light it contains and information desk, 2 storey fish tank and currently several market stalls. On the second floor there is also an area for displays and activites. The ground floor is predominately clothing with shops such as Splash, Matalan, New look, the middle floor has a mixture of general shops, childrens clothing and electronic shops including one of only two Sharaf DG in Abu Dhabi. The first floor also accommodates the newest Lulu which is very well laid out with electronics and general supermarket providing a one stop shop.
The third floor is mainly a food hall which offers some famous named alternatives to most other malls such as Wendy's, London fish and chip shop, Hardees (which unless you go up into Abu Dhabi are so hard to find) and also has a huge Sparkies play area for the young kids. Unlike other new malls such as Dalma and the new one on Baniyas the majority of shops were occupied as soon as the mall opened., which was a refreshing change.
The only draw back at the moment are the roadworks that surround the mall making it difficult for people who need to get back off the island.
The mall is ideal for people who do not live or want to travel into the centre of Abu Dhabi. This has become our favourite mall since it has opened as it is methodically laid out, flawlessly clean and an absolute pleasure to spend time round.
This is the newest mall in Abu Dhabi, however not all the shops/stores at the mall are already open. It may be too early to make a fair review but so far, I think it is good. There is Sharaf DG for the electronics fanatics, great restaurants and fast food chains have already open and will soon open (like Indian Palace, Wendy's, London Fish & Chips, Mugg and Bean). Clothing line line Matalan, New Look, Splash, Springfield. It boasts of having an indoor market place that sells fresh fruits, vegetable, fish and meat products, being the first of its kind. I have not experience parking space issues though, probably because it is not yet jam packed with customers compared to other malls. Parking space maybe smaller compared to others, but I guess that is because most people would like to park at the nearest ones, where everybody else crowds. Public bus stops at the mall as well, and taxis frequent the area too. I appreciate that Sparky's is very wide at Mushriff mall, with more rides for the kids. If there is one thing I dislike about the place, it's that some lifts are not yet serviceable.
