If you were a fan of "Friends" series then you must know "Central Perk" , I'd call Makan my personal Central Perk! Such a Cozy cafe, so different from crowded Amman Cafes. If you want to spend quality time with your friends and play some of your childhood games
such as Monopoly and UNO, while enjoying classy music while sipping your favorite drink, Then Makan is your place.
They also don't add the 10% service tax, however you'll be tipping 20% or more due to Makan's superb service.
Passion, Professionalism, and Creativity, this is how I describe Motion Studio. I was just kicked out of Tche Tche Khalda Branch even before getting inside, since I was looking for the nearest cafe with Wifi, the waiter dismissively told me that we don't serve anyone except families, I told him that this is a stupid policy ( it was 4 pm and the place was empty)!, I left and then I was surprised by the cafe manager following me accompanied by a group of waiters yelling at me and wanted to start a fight!!! I would never ever go to tche tche again nor recommend it to anyone, I know that you have a strong brand in Jordan but if you want to maintain it remember the following ( a satisfied customer brings another customer, a dissatisfied Customer makes you lose 10), I'm just shocked (يا عيب)
I've attained my MBA degree from this school, and truth to be told it was a great experience, full of knowledge and excellence. The school has high standards when it comes to faculty, staff, curriculum and students. the MBA program in TAGSB is made up of 42 credit hours or 14 subjects, where the school offers a group of concentrations, including marketing, finance, management , HR, and quality, recently they've added logistics, personally I've studied MBA when a Management Concentration and it totally added value to my career and knowledge. Warning: The school is tough and very demanding, so if you are willing to invest time, money, and you have the skills set required, then TAGSB is the place to be, moreover I think TAGSB offers the best and most accredited MBA programs in Jordan and really competitive regional wise. for more information you can access www.TAGSB.edu.jo
Probably one of the most overrated places in Jordan, I've been there last Friday with Family , a Family member was against the idea since she went there long ago and her experience wasn't enjoyable, however since I'm into trying new places, we decided to go, The place is far away (which is alright), we went there willing to have lunch in Panorama restaurant, as we got there, we were 3 so we paid 3 jds for 3 tickets, which pointless for a group willing to have lunch and pay!, we got into the restaurant and the first thing you notice that it's not lively at all ! , well since it's , we found a table and started checking the menu which was overly expensive ! , If I knew that the restaurant is that expensive I would have eaten at one of the dead sea 5 stars hotels, we've got our order and you we've noticed that it's more samples that dishes !, for example the rocca salad was barely enough for 1 person, and when I asked why , the waiter replied rudely, the serving is per person, another example of how expensive that place , the mixed grill plate is for 15 jds without tax and it's only 240 grams! , we've ordered homos, tabooleh, rocca salad, chicken wings, grilled chicken , and shish tawook, the , and all was , the chicken wings tasted like fish, which means it was fried in the same oil used to fry fish, and when we asked the waiter for the reason he replied we don't have fish, however they offer fish as per their menu!. to summarize , the location is awesome , and the view is amazing during sunset, however it's not utilized as it should be, it's not lively at all., the restaurant is awful and the staff are kind of rude, noting that it's never about the price, it's about the value a Customer receives for the money paid,
Craving Asian? Don't know whether to eat Chinese, Japanese or Thai? well, Umami has the answer, a unique restaurant with its fusion concept, with a menu that contains mouthwatering dishes that ranges from ordinary (Chinese, Thai or Japanese) dishes in addition to Umami’s fusion dishes, a fusion of Asia's best tastes on a plate, I went there with a group of fellow Jeeran yesterday, it's kind of hard to find a parking spot however you can use the valet service, as the door opens you'll warmly be welcomed by the professional staff , and you won't be able to take off your eyes from the nice interior design, the decoration is also a fusion!, the space is sectioned with wooden partitions that gives you some sort of privacy. First we had a wide collection of appetizers which I personally thought that it was the main course!, soybeans, spring rolls, crispy chicken balls, salads and more, it’s really hard to remember the names of dish cause it’s a fusion!, for example one of the salads was a fusion of coleslaw with shrimps and wasabi!, and they have lettuce wraps which I totally recommend . Then came the main dish we had veggie steamed rice, Umami fried noodles along with other main dishes such as Mongolian Beef, Crispy Beef, and Crispy Chicken, regardless the fact that I was almost full from the appetizers I couldn’t resist the Main Course! “I wonder why I’m not losing weight”, then came the desserts and they were really delicious. If you eat at Umami you’ll notice that they add sesame to almost everything “obviously it’s their Signature Ingredient”. I have one note that many of the dishes I've had yesterday had nuts as an ingredient like Peanuts which was grind, and since some people are allergic to nuts it should be indicated that “This Dish Includes Nuts” cause the last thing you want to see is a severe allergic reaction at a restaurant. My overall experience is enjoyable, and if you Asian food lover and into experiencing new tastes, then Umami is the place to go.
Who said Jordanians ain't creative? this place exmplifies Jordanian creativity, through designing T-shrits, hoodies, stickers and more with Jordanian Content, using words and expressions from our local language and mix it with cool designs using well-known logos and pictures to create a real cool stuff, if it happens that you walk in waibdeh, look for Jo-bedu and check their real cool collection noting that their prices are really good , and the quality of their stuff is high, Jo-bedu has also opened a new shop in Abdoun, and also sell online, however trying their shop in person feels different :). for more info you can check their website: http://www.jo-bedu.com/
Fan of Sea Food?, Looking for Value?, love Downtown?, if your answer is yes, then head to Sarah , it's located downtown opposite to Hashim, it's a humble place with 2 floors, as you get it you'll notice fish friedge full of fish and other sea food including lobsters, crabs and shrimps, I went there once so far and Im planning to do it again, I went there with a friend we've ordered a mixed platter (Fried Fillet, Shrimps, and Calimari), in addition to sea soap and salads, and guess what it was too much, we had to take the rest home and we paid something around 12 jds each! that's not how much you would pay for such a delicious sea food anywhere in "sealess" Amman, the food was great and price was even better, go ahead and satisfy your cravings "guilt-free", trust me it's worth every dime!... it's hard to find a place to park and it'll take you some time to find a table or receive your food, but it's worth the effort
Small, mouth watering, and full of calories, that's Feel Burger in brief, I've had burger from Feel several times, whether delivery or walk in, I've tried their 777, Feel Burger and Newyorker Burger, and they all share something in Common, They are Delicious, their beef is just different, their ingredients are fresh, and they offer a good variety of fries to pick from (french, wedges, curely and twisters), not to mention the really good collection of beverages not only ordinary coke, they have Dr. Pepper as far as I remmember and some other American Stuff, personally I loved Feel Burger and I guess they are one the best Burger Joints in Amman, however I think they need to enhance their bread since it's too thick and not always fresh
Still in its soft opening however 18th century has a really good start, the menu still limited, but those guys know how real burger should taste, I've been there twice so far, and I'm planning to visit again, the atmosphere there takes you to the wild west "Jessie James Days', their burger is made with angus beef and with home baked burger bun, and you have the luxury of selecting the ingredients you crave for, The place is a must go to burger lovers,,, and hey, don't forget your free Peanuts !
Met a friend in Taj mall 2 days ago for coffee, and due to the Non-smoking policy in Jordan malls I insisted on finding a smoking place ( can't stand coffee without smoking). so my friend suggested Cafe Hanin, and it was a great option, the decoration is so nice with a touch of violet , the staff were very welcoming, but the thing that I liked the most was the menu, not only for its content, but for its design, it looked like an old photos album, the place has some nice view since it's located on the top of Taj mall, so you can enjoy a view for Amman, we enjoyed our coffee and were able to lead a full conversation without shouting (Unlike most cafes), cause the background music wasn't so loud. I do recommend this place, I think they offer a good shisha as well, yet I haven't tried it, but this is what I heard.
When it comes to pizza and fresh ingredients, then pizza lover is the place to satisfy your cravings, but surprisingly this place also serves the best chicken wings in town!, I've tried Alfredo pizza, which was by far the best pizza I ever tried in Jordan, the pizza was made on wood fire, kind of smoked, the dough was thin and delicious, and the ingredients were so fresh, the chicken wings are just different, meaty and the sauce is mouth watering, but trust me don't act as if you are Indian, by ordering extremely spicy wings cause they are EXTREMELY spicy and trust me, you don't wanna try the after math ;).
Love 80s music? like cozy places? then reserve your place at cube on Wed night and hit that lounge, once you get in you will notice how small it is, yet there is a room for everyone to dance and completely enjoy their time, the place is so cozy " that really helps in cold winter ;)". The resident Djs are so talented and they jam greatest 80s hits, remixed with modern beats, Cube is the destination for clubbing on the 80s beats :),,,, what are you waiting for?!, dress to impress and dance your night out as if it is 1987 ;)
Sushi Fan? arrange with your fellow sushi loving friends and reserve a table in Noodasia on sunday, cause Noodasia host the best Sushi night in town, a huge variety of sushi, sashimi and salads to fill your cravings of the delicious Japanese cuisine made by highly skilled chiefs, you will need to wait in a long line of other Sushi lovers, but trust me its worth waiting due to the distinctive scene of artistically prepared sushi that will please your eye and the anticipated taste that will water your mouth, once your reach the end of the Sushi line you will find a delicious variety of dips and sauces to take the taste to a whole new level. I paid 24 Jds and I had uncountable number of Sushi and Sashimi, corn soap and a soft drink and totally enjoyed the night with a great group of friends.
Went to Comfy yesterday with a group of amazing Jeeran, as I got into the place I didn't face any problem finding a parking spot, the entrance of the place was nice, and the decoration was different , the staff of the place were very welcoming and they made us all feel "Comfy", I've tried their strawberry juice and it was fresh, their Greek salad was made of fresh ingredients as well, and the Pizza was delicious, their chairs were "Comfy" as well, overall my experience was enjoyable, however they still can enhance the music they play, a chill-out lounge music can be a perfect match with their theme. I believe that Comfy should seek new ways and offer unique things to attract Customers and find its way in an area full of competitors.
Cafe De Paris, located in the heart of Waibdeh, surrounded with history and liberty, once you step into this place you immediately notice its difference from most of the Places in Amman, the place is different by its Simplicity, the decoration is simple, people are simple (mostly Europeans and liberal Jordanians), the food & drinks menu is simple and the prices are simple too ! since the prices are cheap when compared to other places and tax is already included within the price (so you won't have to use your math ;) ). Cafe De Paris always offers jaw dropping deals that makes you believe that you are being robbed in other places !, the staff there are so friendly and hospitable, the Owner is always there to make sure personally that all Customers are satisfied. the bottom-line "Cafe De Paris is highly addictive so enjoy responsibly ;) "
Salsa, Bachata, Merengue Dancer? Trader Vics is the place to go then !. the place atmosphere is a fusion between Latino & Hawaiian style, a Cuban band playing live music every night, exotic dishes and drinks all served with Trader Vics style, Trader Vics has 2 major Salsa nights on Thursday & Friday, the place becomes crazily crowded full of salseros and salseras, even if you don't dance you still can go and enjoy the live music and the cheerful scene so don't miss it :))
LOFT is simply the best roof in Amman, amazing view, awesome decoration, and it's definitely one of Amman's must go places during the summer and it's ideal for dating ;) , the staff members are very friendly and professional , the atmosphere is mind soothing, they offer a wide variety of food and drinks, the last time I've been there I've tried steak sandwich which was the best steak sandwich I had in Amman, the prices are somehow high but still worth it :).
One of my favorite restaurants in Amman, tasty & fresh food, nice atmosphere, very friendly staff, very affordable prices. I've been a Customer for this restaurant for around 2 years, I've always invited my friends and family there and since then they all became Customers, as a recommendation order Zorba Chicken wings, Chicken in Fokhara, BBQ, and their appetizers are amazing as well.
