My husband and I found Motion Studio through Jeeran when where searching for a photographer for our wedding, the rates were so high so we decided to go check it out. To start with we were very impressed by how amazing the guys at the studio are and all the arrangements were so smooth. Now that the wedding is over and we have already seen the pictures and the video, I must say I'm even more impressed as they managed to exceed my expectations with the excellent quality of the pictures and the wedding video. They also did a pre-wedding clip (instead of the photos slideshow) and it was a huge success as it was very creative and professionally done.
I highly recommend this studio as they got it all: professionalism, creativity, talent, service, quality for money, dedication and commitment. No delays, everything on time, everything is perfect. They saved us a lot of stress as we were sure we're in good hands!
My friends and I ordered delivery at work. Though we ordered 4 different sandwiches (Shawerma, Casadella, Africano, and Italian). The spices and dressing (tatbileh, as in the name) is so strong that the four sandwiches, though completely different from one another, all tasted same!!! We paid around 4.5 JD for each meal (including coke and fries).
It was "ok". Nothing special. But I wouldn't eat from there again.
Now that I'm an iPhone user I can use Jeeran application.
There's nothing not to love! A lot of people I know use it as a guide.
I met few people from Jeeran a couple of times and they are awesome!!
I like that when I don't write for a while I receive an email that I've been missed, and I like how the crew are always connected with us!!
5-star for all of them <3
The only thing I think needs to be done is working on the application to improve it :)
I recently got my reading glasses from Taj Mall branch. The store is elegant and there are branches almost everywhere!!
The service is excellent! Frames range in price so you can find something from 50 JD to 500!
The reading glasses I got is perfect! I felt like I was getting honest opinion from the shop assistant rather than thinking of money. The glasses are high quality I feel like Im seeing life in HD ;)
I paid total of 116 JD for the glasses including the frame (I chose the most expensive lenses available) I honestly had my eye on a 150 JD frame, but the cheaper one looked better on me!
I liked that I received an SMS thanking me for my purchase and then another later telling me that my glasses are ready and I can pick them up.
I used to shop with MarkaVIP but stopped after my last order in December.
I placed an order in the beginning of December and one at the end during the clearance. My orders were late and though Zi asked they be delivered together, they were delivered separately.
The delivery guys were rude and they refused to deliver my package to my current location. One made me meet him in Tela' Al Ali (though I was in Abdoun at the moment) and the other insisted to deliver the package only to my home address.
One of the bags I ordered was supposed to be mustard yellow, it was nothing like that! More of an ugly honey brown!!
As for their claim to be original, I doubt!!
Regarding their "so called" discount, my sister bought shoes from Nike on sale for something around 40JD, on MarkaVIP she found it a month later for 85 JD as the sale price!!!
And the new policy regarding shipping fees, if you shop for less than a certain amount, now that made it even worse!!!
I dont trust this website!! It was good at first maybe, but not any more!
I just tried this new place very recently, like a few days ago. It's nice and cozy and I like the decoration!
I went there with a friend and we order grilled chicken sandwich with fresh mozzarella and honey-mustard sauce. Wedges and a salad on the side. The total for this was 14 JD.
Comparing to the quality, the price is good! They take a while to prepare your meal, but it's all fresh and healthy!
They have only 6 choices of sandwiches in baguette bread (chicken, beef, and fish) and you choose the dressing for it, whether you like to add cheese, and if you like wedges (big, baked, healthy widges) or a salad (delicious!!!), The portions are good and it definitely tastes different than other sandwich places in Amman. I highly recommend people try it :)
Throughout our best-burger-in-Amman search, my friend and I went to Burger Joint. We went there with high expectations and we were really looking forward to a decent burger meal.
Since it was our first time at the restaurant, we asked what would they recommend for first-timers? They recommended Swiss and Mushroom.
The waiting time was acceptable (around 10 minutes). We ordered two Swiss and Mushroom meals (with cokes and fries). We paid 16 JD for that, and for the size of the meal it's a bit overpriced!!
I liked that you can choose if you like your burger medium cooked or well done. We both chose medium to well.
The taste of the burger was good, but nothing special. The meal size should be re-considered. For me, a girl, it was "ok" but I could still eat more, wasn't exactly FULL! My friend though was not satisfied at all! He was still hungry after finishing the entire meal.
All in all, it was okay. Not so bad, but not good either. I wouldn't go there again though!
I don't know from where they got the history of Hamburger behind their name, but I think they should check more!
I went there with a friend. The options on the menu are very limited! There are no combos, you choose each time separately and everything you add in order to make your meal has a price of its own. You can add cheese, sauces, mushroom, and other ingredients for an extra cost.
We ordered 2 beef burgers with extra sauce and mushroom, two cokes, and two fries. For that we had to wait more than 15 minutes and we paid around 18 JD.
The meal is average and not worth the price paid. If you're a guy you probably wanna get an extra burger patty (which will cost you more of course) as the sandwich size is medium.
For a dine-in restaurant that is not self-service I expect better service!! They weren't bad, but not exactly good service either.
For a burger, the waiting time is too long! And for the not-so-special taste it's too pricey!
I enjoyed my meal, but I wouldn't go there again if I'm craving burger.
My friend and I are on the search for the best burger in Amman. So far FireFly is #1!!
I won't talk about the parking, this place is at the beginning of Rainbow street so as any other place there, no parking!!
The space is small and mostly you'll either have to sit on the bar as it's almost always full, or you just take your meal to go.
We have tried FireFly three times. We tried Angus Burger, Kamakaze, and the Chicken burger. I wouldn't recommend the chicken, it's not bad but go for beef! The meal is REALLY BIG! And it's a very good deal! A meal of burger, fries and your choice of a soft beverage. I don't know the exact price but it's something like 5.50 JD. Any guy would be satisfied with the meal and I'm saying this cause I went with the same friend to another burger place, I was satisfied, he was still hungry!!
People working there are nice. They're always busy. But service is good I mean in such small busy place it's the food that matters! You get it, eat, go out! Doesn't require distinguished service for a burger place :)
My favourite coffee shop in Amman!!!
I go to vivid a lot, the employees sometimes recognize me on phone when I call sometimes for reservation. I've been there with family, with friends, and with colleagues. The atmosphere suits all!! I have tried almost everything on the menu and the food is do delicious!
Breakfast, lunch, football game, sheesha, or dinner, at summer outdoors or at winter where low lights and fire makes it cosey, you will enjoy it!!
The service is really good. Everyone smiles a lot and is very polite. They have valet parking. You can pay by credit card or cash.
I find the prices reasonable. If you are having sheesha and something to drink, expect to pay 10 JD per person. If you decide to eat and drink/have sheesha, it should be around 15 to 20 JD per person. For example me and a friend ate one main dish each (i had sizzling chicken fajita and he had parmesan chicken, we both had coke and sheesha, it was a total of 35 JD, roughly speaking.
For people who don't live or usually go to East Amman area this could be challenging to find directions! But if you ask around people are nice and can help you find your way around .. For me Im here on Monday morning. There was not much traffic and I found parking right outside the building.
Building inside is neat and they conduct very interesting workshops and training that you could benefit from. Excellent area for such events.
For me its 4 stars only because of the location. I prefer such buildings to be on a wider street with bigger parking space.
I tried this place for breakfast today and it's soooo delicious!
I tried Lahmeh Aramnieh and Zaatar Lebnani and Jebneh Beida .. Also Cheese & Salami ..
All was great!! The prices are very good and cheaper than most breakfast places in Amman. I was very surprised (in a good way) how fast the food was ready even though it's all freshly baked!
The place is clean. It's very small and cozy with a couple of tables inside and one outside.
Highly recommended! Two thumbs up ..
I have tried L'occitane before and was excited when I found it open at Taj Mall!
There's a mysterious charm that will make you fall in love with L'occitane after you try it .. You can say love at first try :)
Though some might find the prices to be a bit expensive, but I guarantee the quality of the product will not make you feel ripped off at all. People actually noticed the difference in my hair after I started using the shampoo and conditioner (and sometimes the treatment). Every one said that my hair looks healthy and it's shinier and more fresh. Those who know me well and could see the very amazing improvement in my hair immediately bought the shampoo and conditioner and I heard a very positive feedback.
I have also tried the skin care products. My mom also found facial creams that suit her age and was very pleased with the result.
I have tried the make up, body products, lip care, facial products, perfumes and hair products and I loved every single item I bought. The only problem is that the store in Jordan does not have much variety as other branches in different countries. You can't find everything yet. Hopefully more lines will be in store in the near future, at least that's what they promised!
The lady working there is very sweet. She gives you honest advise on what suits you and what doesn't, I love how she gives samples for something new to try every time.
Perfect for gifts only if you are on a big budget (around 50 JD and above).
I just got back from Kinda Spa and this was my first (and last) visit. Usually for me a visit for the spa mean a luxurious time where I like to be pampered and treated like a Goddess. This so was not what happened, not even close! I go to spas regularely and I know what am talking about.
Decoration: It doesn't look or feel like a "spa". There is no waiting area, hardly a couple of chairs at the reception. No relaxing atmosphere. The chairs and beds are not that comfortable. I was surprised because it requires reservation, yet looks more like a practical on-the-go nail care center. There are no showers, which I find a big fail for a "spa" that offers waxing and massages.
Service: Not a single woman greets you with a warm smile and welcomes to the spa. They barely smile back at you and do not look like they are in the mood for work or that they are pleased you came and are happy to serve you and wants you to be a regular customer. There was no one to come and ask you if you would like to something to drink. No service culture.
Body Sugar: The lady who does body sugar was not that professional. I won't go into details I but let's just say I was not satisfied. But the most horrible thing is that they did not change the bed sheet! I asked for a clean sheet and she said there are none! I was sitting on a sheet that I don't know how many women sat on! And it's a white sheet so you can easily and clearly spot everything on it. I give them zero for cleanliness.
Eyebrow Shaping: The lady who did my eyebrows only half-cleaned them. She didn't cut or shaped them. And she did it super quickly (yet not professionally) and said "na3iman" and left!! I stopped by another salon on the way home and had them shaped.
Manicure and Pedicure. The girls are all professional and this was the only thing I was satisfied with. However, there are better spas that do the same job on a more comfortable chairs and high quality products and excellent service with the same price, if not less!
There is no better place for steak! Rare, Medium or Well, however you like it, this is the place to go. I personally prefer my steak medium to well (not the most delicious but healthier this way). 282 is the exact Fahrenheit degree at which the steak should be cooked.
Honestly, I didn't look much at the menu because I only wanted steak :) I tried seafood soup (seriously out-of-this-world delicious), the steak of course, and I can't remember what else, been a while!
On my first visit, it was on Valentine's day a couple of years ago or something, it was a set menu for two. A red rose and small heart-shaped chocolate box was handed to each lady. The set menu was soup, 1 appetizer/each, steak cooked as you like it, 1 dessert/each and champagne. I think it was 90++ JD. But it's recommended that you have red wine with steak (I think almost everyone knows that).
The prices are high, BUT the service is great and the place is clean and lovely. You have to keep in mind that it's a restaurant in a 5-star hotel. It's definitely a restaurant within high standards quality of food and service.
Definitely worth trying! Very suitable for family dinners or celebrating special occasion. Also good for business dinners.
The best place for chicken wings in Amman!!! The wings are generously dipped in the sauce served with buffalo sauce on the side. I usually don't eat chicken wings in public so if eating in I order boneless wings.
I have tried all kinds of wings but the best is buffalo! I have tried some other things like the mushroom burger (with chicken). As for the side dishes, I love love LOVE the onion rings! My favorite meal is 6 buffalo wings, small onion rings and seven up diet. It's my regular and I swear I'm craving it right now while writing this review. The mozzarella sticks are good also and fries. No alcohol.
The menu does not have a lot of options, but that can be sometimes a secret for success.
The place is small and got few tables. No bathroom. Non smoking but there are a couple of tables outside for smokers. It's very clean. They got hand santizer on every table and provide gloves with wings (brilliant!).
The owners are brothers and I can hardly tell the difference between them! The third brother works at the Taj Mall branch. They are super nice, very friendly, greet you well, generous and give you sincere opinion.
Takeaway and delivery both available. No valet parking. It's just this amazing small, cozy restaurant that you like to casually hang out with friends and eat wings.
The prices are perfect! Very affordable and reasonable.
Classy and more exclusive fine dining. Opens at lunch time and dinner through midnight. The restaurant is reservations only. Perfect for important business lunch/dinner and celebrating intimate occasions. Can be reserved for a receptions.
The menu is rich. Even though the restaurant is French, they offer famous international dishes. The restaurant offers alcohol.
Entertainment available at night. I'm not sure if it's always available, but the times I had dinner there, there was a singer later after.
The portion of appetizers is small, which is good because you don't wanna full up on appetizers and miss all the delicious main entrees. The steak is really good. What I love so much though, is the bread and butter served at the table. The butter is smooth and the bread is salty in a good way that balances the taste! The steak is amazing also. Generally, the food is delicious and I personally do not have any complain on it.
The service is perfect! The time from being welcomed at the door, to ordering the food to being served is withing international standards. The staff are professionals! They greet you well at the door, take your coats (if any) take you to your reserved table and treat you extra polite and gentle.
Some might find the prices expensive, but with the high quality and excellent service no one will feel ripped off! All in all, a very pleasant experience that leaves you with a smile!
Valet parking available, of course :)
Excellent choice for both lunch and dinner! The atmosphere and lightening is just amazing! The salads are delicious and the menu has a satisfying variety of appetizers and main dishes. I specially like the more private setting at the bar inside. Both who prefer alcohol or who do not will be totally comfortable.
My favorite dish is Blackened Chicken. It's a grilled chicken breast seasoned with salt and black pepper, served with vegetables and alfredo pasta in white sauce on the side. The service is very good, the place is always clean and the food is cooked with the same good quality every time! Valet parking available, very important in Shmeisani area!
Suitable for families, but not for kids or teenagers hanging out alone.
The prices are fair as the food is delicious and the portion is big.
Al Moumayaz Taxi started well as a fancier taxi service. Now any taxi driver can pay daily fees to the company and take a Moumayaz car, thus the quality of service provided has dropped down tremendously. If you stopped a Toyota Moumayaz taxi on the road, it's not much more expensive than yellow taxis. Another setback is that they used to charge any destination as it costs by miles on the counter, making Toyota Moumayaz taxi a great choice for airport drop-offs and pick-ups. However, now they have a standard rate just like the white Airport Taxi.
Reserving a taxi by phone is no longer practical and easy as it used to. I can no longer find Moumayaz Taxi reliable in that regard. Don't be surprised at all if you called and did not find any taxis available on the requested time and date or if you did make a reservation and the taxi simple did not show up!
As for the Mercedes Moumayaz taxi, it's just a luxurious ride for those who would like to maintain a prestigious standards of living (either locals or tourists in Jordan). A destination that will usually cost 1-2 JD by yellow taxi or Toyota Moumayaz will not cost less than 5 JD in the Mercedes.
The right place to go if you're craving Chinese, Japanese or Thai food. A rich menu of tantalizing far-eastern foods. Whether you like chicken, beef or seafood, the array of choices of starters, main courses and sides dishes will keep you undecided you will want to order everything on the menu! But the good news, you can always come back, I'm sure you will ;)
The Sushi is amazing, and I highly recommend you take the Fried Bananas for desert, very delightful! The food portions are big and satisfactory, yet very light on the heart and never greasy or fatty like other restaurants.
The restaurant is big with a lot of space. The lighting is low giving a classy touch to the place. The decoration (inspired by Buddha) and the candles makes your dining experience as spiritual as it should be. The service is excellent and the whole staff from chefs to cooks to waiters and waitresses are from the far east, you will feel you almost as if you traveled to the Far East just by visiting Noodasia.
Valet parking is available. You have a smoking or non-smoking seating option.
A very classy lounge to hang out at. Shaman being always full and hard to find a reservation at is just an evidence of how this place maintained its high standards over the years. The atmosphere is elegant and the music is amazing. I cannot recommend a specific dish on the menu, but I can assure you that you'll find something that will suit your taste.
Serving both soft and hard drinks, hubbly-bubbly, rich menu, along with the impressive service makes Shaman a favorite for any person who appreciates fine dining.
