I'm a HUGE fan of mexican food and coming from the states this restaurant left a LOT to be desired. First of all, who serves a burrito with meat only inside and nothing on the side to go with it? So, I skipped that and went for the plain old tacos. Not a good idea either. The food wasn't disgusting of anything but in my opinion it just wasn't good either. And most certainly wasn't worth the price we payed. I honestly hated my experience..the service was horrible and the food was just ok..infact the vegeterian quesadillas i had was too spicy for my liking. They brought the wrong order twice to my table and couldn't be bothered to apologize. Even before leaving, I had to wait about 20 minutes to get my debit card back! Overall I wouldnt reccomend this restaurant to anyone!!
The place is very trendy, and I believe its location is perfect and will attract its desired clientele of yuppies etc. The lobby bar is quite large and one can sit down and actually have a conversation which is rare for Dubai , service was also good and smiling.
The restaurant is very bling, not so post recession but I guess it would be expected for a steakhouse in the DIFC. The night started by good service and we were offered the special martini of the day which a refreshing touch by waiting staff wearing 'pearls'.
The starters and main courses were overall good, nothing out of this world. The side dishes expect for the corn dish was was unusual were quite staple, the quality of the meat was very good however not matching jW steakhouse.
However the service during the meal just seemed to go down, the bubbly waitress started stressing as more tables started to come late. Our dessert order was a mess, we run out of water and had to ask for it 3 times (not so dramatic but the place is expensive) and the coffees were sent back.
The bill was an avg of 450 AED a person, with only one glass of wine consumed. Thats 90 EURO's and for me way overpriced, but its teething problems i'm sure...
Oh and paying for valet if you stay there more than 3 hours is a joke.
The best brunch in Dubai. Fact! Nowhere else offers such a wide variety of food, prepared to such high standards and consequently such great value for money.
The layout is also fantastic, brilliantly thought out so that you don't have to queue for anything!
Best cheese pizza in town
We stopped here for dinner. I had given up on pizza in Dubai and I was sure this place will be the same as the rest.
I went for the traditional Italian pizza, the primavera pizza was amazing, I had never tried a white pizza before, means there is no red sauce, the crust was amazing.
We enjoyed it so much that we went back for more, to try the formaggi and the Gorgonzola pizza, also white, although they are more expensive, they are really nice too.
The free parking and outside terrace are an added bonus, my wife is a real pain when it comes to parking the car and not being able to smoke, so I had no problems with her for a change!!
This place is great value for money and I hope they open a branch closer to down town as we want to use the delivery service but we are too far, if anyone from mamma mia is reading this! Come on now, please open in down town, i want my pizza at home!
Whether you are a fan of pizza or not - I highly suggest this restaurant!
Their curries might sometimes go wrong during busy lunch times but the most reliable 'curries' you can ahve here: Nihari and Haleem. Cheap and delicious at any time of the day, seriously. I'm not a rice person so won't talk about their Biryani (which I've heard is pretty decent though).
For the price of per-person-dining, Karachi Darbar is my first choice during the day. I love alone and have to eat out a lot. KD is cheap, has a no-nonsense service attitude and their Pakistani BBQ is pretty freakin' amazing.
Going to an italian restaurant should be an experience, we say between friends, but this just spoilt your dinner. Food is just below average italian, even been outside italy. Sevice just ok, the Hotel, do not let me speak. Yes can be a deal for business lunch you say, but if you tell me to pay 85dhs and wait more than one hour for my meal, which kind a deal is this? The service is fast, but who's preparing it do not know how to organize. I suppose to ask more of a better deal from an awarded italian restaurant. If you put on the wall frame of echivment and you do not deliver, they will only remain on the wall and nobody will care how you are.
Just below everage like all Duba. i

Shawarma on a grill plate is the worst way to get introduced and to enjoy the real Shawarma. To be the best Shawarma in town means you have to make it on a big skewer, and not on a grill plate. I understand when restaurants use grill plate because their Shawarma orders vary through out the day and they can't keep a Shawarma skewer on.
But if you are a Shawarma only specialized place, then YOU HAVE to use skewers.
Shawarmama has one skewer and mainly does most of the Shawarma orders on a grill plate not on a skewer, that's what their employee told me and what I saw from my own experience.
I'll be straight and fair. If you crave the real skewer Shawarma, this restaurant is not for you.
Actually I love this restaurant, Food is outstanding and service so, the point is there is still not much guests around (apart from so russians living there), but the place is beautiful and so romantic... spot on service, thanks Marko. Nice duck and go for Burrata! I am so coming back since they got finally have alcohol!
I had to wait for over an hour to be seated - the waiting area too was packed, but every minute was worth it! The chicken tasted as good as Max's in Manila and the service outstanding - Must visit by every filipino in UAE...and looking forward to more outlets around..
Sarap to the bones talaga!
Dined here last night. The original location is shut for renovations so the venue had moved to the Bice Skybar on the 10th floor and featured a reduced menu. There were no pizzas and even some of the starters like lobster carpaccio or the king crab steak salad were missing. Once seated, fresh warm bread and breadsticks were kept at the table with 3 dips - olive paste, tomato, and olive oil. The beef carpaccio topped with thin dry cheese and lots of ?rocket leaves covered the entire plate and was a sight indeed.
The seabass mainns on a bed of potato was served hot and well presented but devoid of the taste of any seasoning. Lemon wedges and lemon butter sauce kept by the side. With a little bit of salt things were much better. The skin was crisp but didn't cut with the flesh which was soft and fresh and broke away with just a little pressure. At Dhs. 175 it was pricey.
Although I had wanted to stop, but I just couldn't go away without having their famed tiramisu. It was served in a cup and was the creamiest tiramisu I had ever had. The brown ?coffee powder coating on the top left a slight bitter taste in my mouth which leaves me to conclude that next time I should have it with coffee.
The atmosphere inside was of elegance and fine dining but the waiters were disarming and this helped me feel more relaxed.
The bill for one person including a bottle of sparkling water was around Dhs 330.
I like the restaurant as whenever i am heading to my office in the morning I have breakfast there. Its awesome, if not the same as restaurants in pakistan still I would say it is same as homely food in pakistan! Definately a friendly place and good hang-out with friends. And they loved the food and place as much!I really like the chicken Boneless handi with achar (Pickle).their recipe is really unique for this cuisine. If someone knows how they cook please post in the message. Roghni Naans are also specialty i did not find Roghni Nann better than this in Dubai. Sitting environment is not very easy especially in Satwa but their new Branch in Qusais is worth to go and you can easily settle down with your family.
Thank You Ravi!!
the food was awesome./.... I was in the restaurant once and I ordered a marshall burger to go and since that day I was hooked to their burgers, they are simply the best I have ever tasted after the one in crowne plaza hotel dine in I think was its name.
everything there at Hush felt like love....
the burger was great and the staff are friendly...
with a nice country music ...
its great in every way...
i cant wait to go there again..
btw :Hush Burger stays open until 2am
did you miss the live country music? they usually have a singer or 2 who sings and plays the guitar live! but I guess it was just Thu night when we had our potbelly. I had the tuna sandwich and I loved the bread itself, so fresh and yum. didn't feel guilty though- since it was tuna ;)
AN UPGRADED VERSION OF SUBWAY. For a few dirhams more you can be eating quality food at Potbelly's
When we entered the restaurant, we were impressed by the ambience. But when the waited got the menu we were shocked! there were totally only about 20-25 items in the menu. so we ordered for a seekh kebab and the waiter asks us, "well done or rare?" Looking confused we say well done. When they bring it to us , i cud see blood coming out of the kebab.I couldnt believe.I called the manager and fired him. then he gave us another complimentary one which was ok but tasted pretty bad. the rest of the food was average ... plus it was a bit laid down service, and i dont think i wud go there again!!!!! and i'll say noo becos its expensive too
The hotel has a great location it is Near The Walk,GBR,Dubai Marina Mall,Dubai Mall and other malls+Grocery supermarket near and Deliver to your room.very clean and comfortable,Great service for a Residence and very helpful staff which answered all my question about Dubai Entertainment. negative points are:street noise sometimes can be annoying if you sleep in until noon .. plus the ladies swimming was nice but a little small, maybe if it was bigger i would have actually been able to swim, but it was still nice to chill in
We went to this place one year ago.. It was amazing in everything so clean so comfortable ,the rooms were very spacious.... the price for the rooms was the right value for the money ...Staff were very curtious and friendly. I loved the balcony and seaview and its excellent for the relaxation ..i loved the location too very close to the marina walk, in fact all restaurants etc...the hotel was an ideal place for a family trip...
If i had to come around again i would definitely love to be in the same hotel apartment..
I have been there at National Theatre many times with different cultural occasions and different cultural activities, i love the place and the staff are welcome . Its a good theatre and i would definitely recommend it to my friends
amazing experience ! Me and my 2 year old along with his Grand Ma had a great time. The animals are so up close. I think you will not find such "in the face" experience anywhere else. a must see if you have animal enthusiasts at home !
I am originally from abudhabi so IT's really convenient for me coz I don't need to drive as long as i need to reach any other mall in dubai...one can spend a real fine day at this mall... the amazing shops for shopping at gr8 values,
the amazingly perfect food court which never fails to please no matter u were in the mood for italian, american , indian or japanese food..it's all conveniently there
up for a cup of coffee after along day at the mall;) no worries..a fine selection of top rated cafes is there..
and of course the superb reel cinemas is a perfect choice for a nice evening with all blockbusters showing there...
all this is amazingly gathered under one roof that is the dubai marina mall.
Me & my Brother visited Chili's yesterday. We were welcomed by a smiling staff, who got us seated. I ordered the Beef rib and my bro' got the Steak (Medium rare). I cannot explain the feeling i felt on taking the first mouthful of my beef ribs. It was paradise, it just melted in my mouth!!!!. Everything was just perfect, the sauce, the meat, just perfeeect!!!! The steak though was cooked to perfection, it paled in comparison to the beef rib. Great food, good service!!! Dont miss the Beef ribs!!! The service goes just as far towards feeding the soul...The waiters at Chili’s are always very friendly and joke with the kids, the waiters will make all the fuss you could possibly want on your birthday – or any other special occasion
at the end:
good enough to go there and taste the best food!!!
I went to Wonderland in February 2010. There were 4 cars in the car park, I negotiated a discount on the way in and we were literally only the 4th family there. We were also the only family in the Water Park part. Wonderland is great . Much less than Dubai prices, lots of space, no queues (February 2010) and a good range of rides most of which were suitable for the kids.
Such an extraordinary hotel. Me and my family went there and it was awesome. The rooms are'nt so good but the facilities and services aregreat. Espeically, aquaventure and the lost chambers. And the lost chamber suites gives you an oppertunity to be in the ocean. I'll definitly come back to this hotel.....
thebeach there is the best beach in Dubai, free to enter, open all day, and peaceful when you go on a WEEKDAY. My favourite swimming spot there is the one at the very beginning of JBR, just opposite Ritz Carlton and Murjan. It's clean and the waters are calm. Watching the sunset is heavenly, Park inside/ at the beginning of the sandy area, or in on of the JBR towers. but negative point if u wont going by ur car cause no public transportation, always traffic jams..! even taxi drivers are annoyed when you tell this destination.....
The staff at Shakespeare and Co will nt only happily seat u near a plug socket, but they’ll also keep u supplied with complimentary biscuits and teeny cakes all afternoon, regardless of how many cups of coffee you order. If you’re lucky, you might even get a few freebie chocs with the bill. so much recomended by me
get your hands on the freshest fish available in Abu Dhabi, and great deals on shrimps, sardines, hammour and sherry fish . Prices depend on the season and availability, I recommend to try : Hammour, which sells for approximately Dhs30 per kilo.
