CeraDisi is a project run by the Disi Women Association. I've been working closely with the women who make these ceramics and have seen the growth their project underwent in such a short time. The products are mainly inspired by old inscriptions found in Wadi Rum as well as other designs inspired by the Bedouin life.
They have a small shop at Rum visitor's center, it is worth checking out as well as their weekly presence at Souk by the Sea in Aqaba city.
The 10 women producing these products were previously unemployed and mainly stayed at home, the income they make is helping them to sustain a productive life they've always been seeking.
This is a money well spent. They will always want to hear from people to improve their products, so if you have any ideas speak out and they will listen.
