In Amman, you likely have a big chain coffee place within 15 minutes from your house, but to be honest forget about feeding the corporate giants, Café Strada has better brews with more interesting atmosphere to explore! friendly people in a small place with a family-friendly feel, this is what crosses my mind when I first think about Café Strada! It’s the perfect place to spend a relaxed afternoon at or conduct business meetings in! I even had a couple of blind dates over there ;) What I REALLY REALL REALLY like to order every time I go there is a fine sandwich they have on the menu called [Valtelina ~ not sure about the spelling] it has the FINEST bresaola meat you will ever have with mozzarella cheese! It’s a guaranteed choice that you will keep ordering over and over again! I might not be a coffee geek but I definitely ADORE their tea, they recently introduced a wide selection of iced tea, from which I got addicted to the Hibiscus one. Their baristas are so well solid and know everything on the menu, unlike many baristas you will find in the other places in Jordan, sometimes I feel they were subjected to 5 steps interview process! The owners of this place have definitely re-defined customer service in Jordan.. forgot to mention that its A SMOKE FREE cafe :) Just do yourself a favor and go there! Read more

Ever since I was a little kid, I used to hear my parents, neighbors, and family members complaining from the fuel delivery cars in Jordan.

Now that I have my own home, I totally understand where the complaints were coming from!

Mainly, and I am generalizing here, 90% of fuel delivery cars in Jordan are crooks, they never provide you with the "agreed on" fuel quantity, they're always late, and of course you won't trust letting them have a direct contact with the building attendant, as they will immediately bribe him for a chance that they could come later and have the fuel sucked back from your tank the minute you leave the house.

but then, DAFA TOTAL came in...

I've been dealing with DAFA TOTAL for almost 5 months now.. and I am definitely LIKING it.
The first time I called them, the call center guy told me that since I am a first time customer, they need me to provide them with some information, which I did, and then they went into some extra details which I never thought they will tackle...
1) Is the fuel tank easy to access?
2) How far is it from the entrance of the parking?
..and 2 more questions which I can’t remember right now!

What I LIKED about DAFA TOTAL
1) They are always ON TIME ...
2) Proper well trained staff
3) The fuel car is according to the specs that you request, i.e. fuel hose length, car size (small, medium or large)
..and most importantly
4) You get exactly what you pay for, ya3ni, they just deliver the exact quantity you ask them for...

To be honest I wish if DAFA TOTAL was present in Jordan a few years ago, they would have saved me and a lot of people the trouble of dealing with the fuel crooks wandering in Amman streets.. of course they would have also saved us a lot of money wasted on fuel quantities we never received in the first place. I was blown away by O Six Gastro Lounge.. I went out a few days ago with 2 of my best friends to O Six to have dinner and catch up for old times' sake. Though the place was packed that night,… I was blown away by O Six Gastro Lounge.. I went out a few days ago with 2 of my best friends to O Six to have dinner and catch up for old times' sake.

Though the place was packed that night, but the service was really attentive without being intrusive (thanks to our waiter)..I wish i could remember his name..

The food was just sublime, we started with their "just perfect" Chicken Spring Rolls served with the best dipping sauce in town, we also ordered their famous cheese sticks which are fried to "golden perfection" and then just by the time we finished the appetizers; the waiter started serving the main meal...

before I carry on, I'd like to say that it is very rare in Amman to find a restaurant that serves main courses straight-after the appetizers, cause most of them have a 15-20 minutes buffer time before serving the main dish,

but i guess O Six service just surpassed 'em all.

So if the appetizers were just perfect, the main course was beyond description, the Burger Sliders (10/10) the Pizza is even better than any Pizza you could have in a specialized pizza rest. in Amman, and the french fries were tender and crispy surpassing in their taste any fries i ever had...

I like the fact that the menu provides a lot of choices, which is something i admired, cause i cant wait for my next visit to try the other items they have on the menu...
