This is a great spot to spend a relaxing weekend. While quite far away from the centre of Aqaba, you have a view over the sea and are just across the road from the beach. The common area around the… This is a great spot to spend a relaxing weekend. While quite far away from the centre of Aqaba, you have a view over the sea and are just across the road from the beach.
The common area around the pool is equipped with deck chairs, couches, pillows and tents for shade. You can order snacks from the kitchen to enjoy while lounging around. In the evening they sometimes build a fire for everyone to congregate around.
One of the high points is the adjoining dive school. For 30JD each, two dive instructors took us on a fantastic first-time dive around the reefs and a wrecked shipping boat.

There is free wifi which reaches the rooms as well as the poolside area.

The rooms are very basic but the price accurately reflects that (around 15JD per person, including buffet breakfast). The service is good, but quite relaxed so it's the type of place where they encourage you to chill out and feel at home rather than running around after you.
All in all, it's a good base to spend a relaxed and cheap weekend in Aqaba.

Some things to note:
- The pool is closed in winter.
- Soap/shampoo etc is not available in the rooms unless you ask for it.
- The plugs in the rooms are all 3-pin UK-style (even though the fridge had a fat two pin plug which meant we couldn't plug it in!) so don't forget your adaptor! Read more

I recommend the mixed shawarma meal, which includes one chicken and one beef wrap, coleslaw, fries, tahini sauce (fantastic!), garlic sauce (very light and fluffy but slightly bland) and pickles.
They have indoor seating as well as a large outdoor seating area and can also deliver.

On the first night, he organised our accommodation in a bedouin camp where we passed a relaxed evening chatting with the bedouins over a campfire.
Suleman was happy for us to create our own tour based on what we wanted to see but was also able to give recommendations, such as sand boarding on the sand dunes.
While we sand boarded, Suleman prepared a feast of barbecued chicken and vegetables in tomato sauce for our lunch, which we ate family style in one of the most beautiful places in the world! Read more

It's great for a laid back afternoon reading, working or hanging out with friends or for a relaxed evening with a great view over the nighttime lights of Amman. The cafe has free wifi, although it's not a very fast connection.
They serve a variety of food and drinks, including alcohol. As a bonus they also offer soy milk drinks, which is usually hard to find. The prices are middle of the road, not cheap but not too expensive either.
Our experience was a good one in terms of service and quality of the food/drinks. The shisha was excellent and fresh coals were always brought before we needed to ask. Read more
