Whsipers can never go wrong... one of the best spots in Amman ... if you are planning to spend a calm evening then Whispers should be your option...

The food is great ... specially the appetizers platters and the fish platter... also their steak is very famous ...

The staff are professional ...

Prices are reasonable comparing to the quality of food...

My only concern about Whispers is the smoking atmosphere .. even if you ask for a non smoking table , you will still smell the cigarettes all over the place... I think they need to work on the ventilaition system...

perfectly decorated ... and they follow up their decoration by closing down every Ramadan for renovation. Which I find very important ..

I haven't been to Whispers for well over 10 years, due to my residency outside Jordan and when I'm in town, cannot remember their working hours ... which is discouraging to walk in anytime between lunch and dinner. (on this visit, I asked about their business hours and as far as i remember they close at 4:15 PM and open again from 7:15 PM - 11:15 PM), not a fan of these hours but it seems that its working for them all these years.

Went there with the wife around 9:30 PM few days ago, we were given the option where to sit so we chose the smoking section, which is more spacious and has the covered patio and fish aquarium, we sat there for 10-15 minutes before the wife wanted to switch to the non smoking area (on the left side of the entrance), also it was quieter.

The customers were the upper class of Amman (not referring to rich people ONLY), you can see and feel the quality of people sitting around you which gives you a sense of comfort. Educated, well dressed , well communicating, with good manners and classy behaviors, I mean the whole place is classy, and its customers complete the picture, no kids or teenagers, I would say ages from thirties and up, pretty mature

We moved to the quiet section and it was great, the food wasn't "out of this world", it was just ok!, I ordered the "Hammour ........ ", despite of being delicious and the steamed vegetables tasty, it was extra salty!

I would go back again to this place, but apparently I need to try lots of things before I decide on what's the best they have. Price is above average but not expensive.

I love this place.. but lately the food isn't as great as it use to be!

Wow, 4.5 stars? Really?

I can't see how Whispers can get more than 3 stars. Food is average at best and expensive for no reason. Service is pretty crummy, and the atmosphere is filled with older men with their trophy wives or younger girlfriends (at least the times I've been).

Anyhow...here's some more details on some specific menu items:

-- Buffalo tenders: possibly the best and most edible thing on their menu (not bad)

-- Breasole: probably the second best thing on the menu...pretty tasty

-- Jalapeno poppers: fried gobs of cheese that may explode on first bite. Not spicy at all. i'd skip.

-- Penne Arrabiata: way overcooked pasta in a watery tomato sauce. Pretty brutal.

-- Veal Piccata: disgusting cut of veal (no breading) in a very heavy and overpowering lemon cream sauce. Yuck. Canned vegetables round out a miserable dish.

At any rate...I doubt I'll be back.

Damn this place is amazing crowded in lunch hours all week long each time i order something or go to eat there i start craving for what others order, everything yummy tuna melt , grilled chicken, pasta even the vegetarian sandwich and the meals are huge, the brownies are heaven :D valet parking available serves alcohol drinks, salad bar, non smoking area available, nice atmosphere, a bit expensive but i see a good value of money one must try :)

من اكتر واحب المطاعم اللي بحبها وبميزها كل شي بالمطعم بنحب وبتميز الاكل ،القعدة،الاضاءة،بالنسبة الي مكان مريح واكلو كتير طيب و زاكي،بحب طريقة تعاملهم وتقديمهم،اكتر مطعم بحب اعتمدو،جودة الطعام ممتازة وكل شي فرش وصحي،الاسعار مناسبة بالنسبة لكل شي مقدم.

Finally! A Restaurant that Understands the Concept of "Lunch"!

With a large selection of healthy meals and a delicious salad bar, Whispers makes an excellent choice when going out to eat. However, those who are known for being indecisive by nature may have a difficult time arriving at a decision once staring at the menu. While I don't want to bore you with listing all of their menu items, I would like to share what I tried there. Went a week ago with my sister for lunch, I ordered Grilled Fillet Salmon, honestly i haven't had such a good salmon in ages it was cooked exactly as I ordered. My sister had the rib eye steak, she was so busy enjoying it that she couldn't hear me talking to her.

They have excellent service, we didn't have to wait too long for our food.

Overall, Whispers is an excellent choice when you are in the mood for good hearty relatively food.

by far, it is one of the best restaurants in Jordan. the best food, service, atmosphere and crowd; i bet you you go there and do not meet at least 2 of your friends who you haven't seen for ages. it is the best place to seal your business deals during lunch breaks.

you can always enjoy their fresh salad bar along with the yummiest selected platter and good steak.

I really love those busy , crowded , loud and noisy places that come with a delicious meal of your choice (healthy or NOT) , great music tracks and a very high pitched laughter of yours ! when my 7 friends and i plan to meet, we always look forward to a place that is already active and loud to cover up our voice pollution...otherwise we will be easily kicked outta the place !!

food is superb.. if you want a healthy meal , you can head to the salad bar and have the most delicious salad ever with the loveliest dressings as well...OR you can open their menu and pick up anyyything there and i can assure you it will be yuummyy,, starting from appetizers, platters , burgers and ending with pastas !!

and what is also nice, is that they have their own LARGE parking spot,, so you don't spend all your time looking up for a place to park your car!

in regards to prices..you'd better go at the very beginning of the month :)

by far, one of the best restaurants in Jordan.. best steaks. and definitely should try their mini chicken, it's not on their menu though

Great Food , well served and never failed to keep the bar raised with the very high standards, the salad bar is heavenly and the steaks are delicious , i also recommend the mashroom chicken breast :D

مطعم ويسبرز من أرقى المطاعم الموجودة بعمان مكان هادئ ومريح راقي كتيير الأكل والسلطات كتيييير زاكي حتى الحلو عندهم فريش وطيب المكان والديكور والإضاءة مريحة جدا وخدمة ممتازة..

رائع جودة الاكل و المكان من الناحية النظافة و الترتيب و خدمة الزبائن عندهم ممتازة و الاكل باصنافه عندهم شهي و طيب كتير و اسعاره غالية بس روعة بستاهل عندو المطبخ بمواعيد و خدمة الاصطفاف متوفرة.

بالنسبة الي هادا من اكتر المطاعم الي انا بحبها بعمان

كتيييييير قعدته حلوه مع انه شويه عجقه عنده بس ديكوراته وقعدته بحبها والاهم من هيك الاكل عنده زااااكي كتير واذا حاب تعزم حدا وتبيض وجهك روح عليه

الخدمة ممتازة والنظافه ممتازة وجوده الاكل خرافيه بس الاسعاره غاليه نوعا ما يعني اذا كنت زيي بتاخد ارتبك لا تروحه اكتر من مره بالشهر علشان ميزانيك :)

من ارقى مطاعم عمان ،، من جوا كتير احلى من برا . الخدمة ممتازة والاكل طيب وفيو مشروب . بس مشكلته شوي غالي لكن كل شي سعره فيه . بار المشروب عنده متنوع وشاطرين بالكوكتيلات . على كل حال لعشا مميز وحلو بمناسبة خاصة اكيد بنصح فيه :)

الخدمة فيه ممتازة و راحة الزبون و رضاه اهم شي عندهم و بنصح غيري يجربه

المحل هدا دايما معجوء الاعدة كتيير مريحة و لائقة للعائلات السالاد بار عنده كتييير رائع الباستا كتيير لزيزة و اجمالا اكله من ازكى المطاعم، خدمة الفالية متوفرة ،،

ويسبرز عنده أزكى أطباق الستيك + الباستا والسلطات عنده فريش كتير والاكل الو نكهه خاصه النظافة رائعه وخدمة الاصطفاف متوفره أسعاره بالنسبه الي كتيرررررررر غاليه والكميه عينات والاجواء مريحه والخدمة ممتازه

شرط إنو يكون على غدا! من المطاعم الطيبه بعمان، ديماً مفلل أو ديماً عجئة، يعني مو خرج رومانس بس خارج شيله طالعة تاكل وتنبسط. بنصح بتجربة السلد بار وتجربة البيبر ستيك!

انا مارح احكي كتير بس ياريت تجربوا مافي اذكى من هيك وكتير كلاس وكتير مرتب وكتير نظيف وبستاهل الزياره وانا من رأيي افضل مطعم غربي بعمان وعنجد الله يكتر المطاعم الي زيهم عشان نعرف ناكل صح بلبلد
