    I volunteered with operation smile in the last international mission. it was one of the best experiences i have ever had. everyone is nice and cooperative. working as a part of the whole team with all kind of pateints to restore those kids' smiles, made me feel better about myself and the community in general :) :)

      well there are two kinds of volunteers at operation smile, medical team volunteers and student volunteers,
      as a dentistry student i joined the students volunteers, where i worked with patients, organizing them on the screening day, accompany nurses and drs in the patients rooms, pre- and post-operationally , and i even got the chance to attend a surgery :) :) :)
