The food here was pretty good, and I remember liking some of the vegetarian dishes better than the chicken/lamb ones. Although not Indian, their avocado salad scored highly as well.
Unfortunately, the biggest drawback is that the ambiance is mind-numbingly dull... not really what you would call 'buzzing', with an older crowd chatting quietly, monotone Indian music, and operating-room lighting (on a Thursday night no less). -
(Great)a year ago
I took my wife out to Indu last night, since she likes indian food and it was our first anniversary, i hesitated after reading the only review written here before (2weeks ago) about the place and how the food quality changed and all, i decided to give it a go since i went to it about a year ago and it was very good, and there isn't much great options for other restaurants in Amman... fortunately i was not disappointed, the food was still better than any other indian food i tried in Amman, the butter chicken masala was excellent, and i tried some sort of lamb which was not bad but it had my nose running! the service was very good and they wanted to make sure that everything was fine. As for the prices they are not cheap but at the same time not as much as i expected, so i was generally satisfied with this place.

(Bad)a year ago
This place used to be great; chef must have changed because the food was terrible. Nan and yoghurt were the only 2 edible items we ordered. Appetizers were ok, main course was so bad we couldn't eat more than the sauce. No value for money what so ever. Never going then sadly; this used to be one of our favorite Indian restaurants.
