This is a place owned by local Jordanian lady called (Oum Faisal). The idea is to cook and serve Jordanian homemade dishes, the kind you won't find in regular restaurants.
There are a few fixed items on the menu (Mansaf, Mixed Vegetables and grilled fish) and the rest keeps changing per season (Green Beans, Okra, Stuffed Zucchini, etc). So make sure to ask what's cooking when you go.
If you live in Aqaba, you could give Oum Faisal your contacts and she will text you around 11 to tell you about the meals for that day. It is a good day when you receive a text saying "Malfoof today - Stuffed cabbage".
The portions are great, they could be enough for 2. You can order any dish with beef or chicken. Any meal with chicken is for 3.5 JDs and any for beef is 5 JDs.
You can either take away or sit as there is a nice space for customers to eat. Sometimes you can tell that Oum Faisal was lazy and didn't help in the cooking, coz the meal wouldn't taste so great.
In general, I love the idea, and generally the food is good.
