One of my best places in Amman ...

a very calm place, classy people, delicious food and great atmosphere

I never had any dish and didnt like ...

You can also book at canvas for engagements, birthdays and small weddings

the place is very clean

The waiters behave very well. professional

Their Ramadan tent is so nice as well .. lots of activities , you also have to go in summer and sit in the garden .. its just beautiful and relaxing

prices are a bit high

Canvas is one of those cozy places where I enjoy going to in winter.

very nice modern decoration and super friendly staff.

That day we went to have dinner, I ordered the Mediterranean chicken plate which really tastes great (check my picture in the photo gallery) prices are a bit high but at least worth the service.

We paid 28 jds for having 2 Mediterranean chicken plates, one chicken Cesar salad and two cokes.

You can easily park you car in front of the place.

Highly recommended.

i was invited to party over there and the serves was vary bad and the buffet was empty and they didnt get new . so stay away from it at any party or event because they dont know or have the experiences how to deal with smth like this . dishes without asking them for that and they have no problem to c all the buffet empty

Nice place for drinks, snacks, and food. Their outdoor terrace is really nice (beautiful, relaxing, and chill ambiance), and sometimes they have live music

They have good salads and their grilled chicken is delicious.

I will return.

To be honest the place is nice, the theme is quite good, the food is average, the menu wasn't of my interest, the food was ordinary nothing special about it, as well as drinks and appetizers, and the service was below average, it took a lot for the waiter to take our orders and a lot more to bring those orders, it even took more than 30 minutes to make honey-mustard, music was random, starting with Latino Jazz, alliterative rock and Reggae, prices didn't match the service nor the quality of the products, and the worst of all was the minimum charge per person and tax++ which meant that each had to pay around 14JDs whither one ordered a cup of coffee or an entire meal.

Perhaps we had a bad experience because it was a Thursday night, still it wasn't as I expected.

i love this place for many reasons, the atomsphere is nice, and the whole setting of the place is comfy and cozy, i reserved early but when we went there, they gave us a table that we didnt like so we had to wait until they provide us with a better table, we requested to see the manager and he was helpful and gave us a couch which is hidden but not so bad.

the food was not great, i ordered rocca salad, and all i ate was rocca!! plus we ordered canvas burger, it wasnt that bad, but i wouldnt be interested in ordering it again.

It's a nice place to go to during Ramadan; for it has a variety of entertaining board games and shisha as well. Other than that it's just a regular spot with occasionally annoying background music.

اقسام المطعم :

(1) الحديقة الخارجية و التي تتسم بمساحة خضراء منسقة بشكل جميل و انارة رائعة يحلو فيها السهر بليالي عمان الصيفية و بجو مفعم بالالحان الجميلة التي تعزفها الفرق الموسقية بشغف .

(2) القسم الداخلي و هو مقسم الى صالة الطعام التي هي اشبه بقاعة لعرض الاعمال الفنية اذ تزين الجدران مجموعة من اللوحات الفنية الرائعة ناهيك عن الوان الفرش المتناسقة و فكرة المطعم و انت جالس على طاولتك تقابلك ابواب زجاجية و التي تكشف جزء من الحديقة الخارجية ، بالاضافة لوجود شاشة LCD كبيرة بتقنية ال 3D لمتابعة الاحداث المهمة.و يوجد mini bar للمشروبات الروحية بالقرب من الصا لة.

اسباب تميز المطعم : اهتمامه الواضح بالنواحي الفنية كونه يقع بالقرب من متحف الفنون و في منطقة غنية ثقافيا و فنيا

النشاطات الثقافية المقدمة : العروض الموسيقية, امكانية لعرض الاعمال الفنية سواء كانت لوحات زيتية او منحوتات او اعمال يدوية ، يوجد مجلات ثقافية، شاشة عرض LCD، خدمة الانترنت متوفرة .

قائمة الطعام (menu ) : غنية و متنوعة و تحوي اصناف كثيرة مثل appetizers, pastries & pizza, sea food & desserts. و هي على شكل ال palitra اي لوحة الالوان المستخدمة بالرسم.

جودة الطعام: الطعم جيد نسبيا و طريق التقديم (presentation) رائعة .

كما يجب التنويه انه من الممكن اقامة حفلات خاصة و لكن يجب التنسيق مع ادارة المطعم مسبقا.بالنسبة للاسعار فهي معتدلة و مقبولة بالمقارنة مع باقي المطاعم .خدمة الكادر جيدة و لكنها بطيئة نوعا ما.

المصفات متوفرة ودورات المياه تتصف بالنظافة الفائقة و الرائحة الجميلة.

I went to have dinner there with some friends the other night, I have to say I was a bit disappointed as this used to be one of my favorite places in Amman.

I really like the setting and the decorations, I love the lighting as most places in Amman don't get it right, Canvas gets it right with the candles and everything, however and unfortunately, the music played was really a mood killer! I mean come on! R&B music with this atmosphere, really?

The food was excellent, the portions were okay, fair I guess, although I had a hard time understanding how the menu is structured, its nice in design and color, but quite difficult to understand how and where the sections start. It is not a user friendly menu.

We ordered shrimp in sesame seeds and veggie spring rolls, both were really good. I also ordered the Fettuccine with chicken and mushrooms, it was great! actually, all of my friends enjoyed their food.

The service is not as expected though, a bit slow, the waiter seemed like he was new or something, a bit confused, but nothing that was upsetting, it was alright.

We had a wonderful Friday family lunch there. Canvas is very very family friendly, with lots of open spaces, lovely terraces, internal seating, and an external garden. The setting is very green, very quiet, and has a general relaxed feeling. The interior is lovely as well.

The biggest surprise I had is that it was not full, instead very comfortable, almost like a hidden treasure. Service was good, staff was friendly, and here are some points for consideration:

1. Setting and atmosphere was perfect, really.

2. Food was OK and there is room for improvement. All that we ate was good, but there is room to make it great.

3. Pricing was fair.

4. Staff was extremely flexible.

مطعم رائع ، أعدتو برى بتحس انها بحديقة إلها 5ososyea رائعة ، أحلى وأت ينرح عليه بل مساء ، وأكلوا yeeee بجنين ، ما عليه حكي ، كتير طييب ، كل شي طييب حتى الحلو yam yam ، وخدمتهم كتير منيحه ، بتروح عليه وإنت عارف انك راح تكول شي زاكي ، ونضيف ، وبحب كف بحت الاكل بالطبق بتحس في شويت فن ، واسمو canvas ع إسم الورقة الا بيضة إلي بنرسيم عليها أو بنكتب عليه ، متل الشعارت البنكتبو وبنحتو بل شارع ،هيي مش ورقة هيي زي اقمشه بتنكتب عليه ، حبيت فكرة المحل ، وبكون 7atenha برى القمشه بل حديقة عل مبناه من برى .. جاد رحو وجربو كتير حلو ، وبتلقي مكان حتى تصف السيارة ، وأسعرو كتير بتناسب هيك محل ، وهيك quality مو رخيص ،غالي بس بستاهل ، والأثاث المستخدم عندهم حلو أثاث راقي ، بحب المكان كتير ... :) جاد go and enjoy ur evening

روحت عليه في رمضان و موعاملين theme عشان رمضان بس انو جابين اراجيل على غير العادة وكمان فتاحة لانوصارت جزء لا يتجزء من فعاليات رمضان مابعرف ليش هاي الموضة فيكل المحلات ، مافي cover charge بس في min charge 10 دنانير الواحد يطلب فيهم و الخدمة منيحة بس ال menu في اليام العادية كتير غير ، بس انو بنراح لزيز

مكان حلو وقعدته حلوه سواء بره او جوا، الاكل نظيف واسعاره معقوله واهم اشي انه دايما فيه عنده عروض موسيقية مميزة. المكان مميز ومعزول عن العجقة والاماكن الفايعة!

جربت هالمطعم مع زملائي في العمل العام الماضي وكانت التجربه فيه كتير موفقة . الاكل كان كتير زاكي بالرغم انه باشرنا بالاأكل وهو بارد بعد انتهاء الاجتماع . القعدة فيه من الداخل كتير مرتبة وسعره معقول. نظافته منيحة وفيه خدمة انترنت . بنصح الناس اتجربه

بصراحة أنا جارة المطعم وكثير كثير قليلين ذوق، كثير أيام بيعملوا حفلات خاصة ممنوع الناس العاديين يدخلوا (يعني إذا بدك تتعشى انسى الموضوع) والموسيقى أو بالأحرى الضجة مستمرة للصبح بصوت عالي لدرجة انو البيت بيرج. والأكل عندهم غالي على الفاضي، وبليز اللي بيقولوا انه نظيف يشوفوا الحاوية اللي بره موسخة الشارع، حتى نجمة واحدة كثيرة عليهم

اكل زاكي نضيف اجواء روعة

لكن المطعم بدا ينهار

بشكل عام

مطعم كانفس الاجواء فيه حلوة

التراس بالصيف بجنن

الخدمة لا باس فيها

لكن الاكل لا مش تمام

اسعارهم عادية بالنسبة للمطاعم مو غالي و مو رخيص

مطعم جميل جداً خدمة رائعة لا مثيل له من ناحية الأكلات الأمريكية المقبلات فيه لحالها بتشهي

يعني هدا المحل شو ما طلبت من عندو زاكي

انصح به :)

المحل نظيف ومرتب واسعاره معقولة جداً

تجربتنا في مطعم canvas كانت من خلال افطار الشركة الجماعي (شركة بيت.كوم).

التجربه إجمالاً لم تكن موفقة. خصوصاً بسبب نوعية الأكل الغير مرضيه و أيضاً الكميه القليله المتوفره في البوفية.

(في الواقع بعض الموظفين اشتكوا من حالات توعك بعد الافطار... ولو اني غير متأكد من إنه بسببهم.)

الجلسه كانت ماشي حالها... بس يعني بارضو الأكل مهم!!

لا انصح به!

مطعم كانفس ، من افضل المطاعم بعمان ، القعدة عنده بتجنن ومن الآخر ، الاكل اللي بقدمه زاكي بس مو زي القعدة بالخاصة بالترس اللي برا ، الخدمة ممتازة ، الاسعار مو كتير غالية :-)
