Why are hotels in Jordan more expensive than destinations like Sharm, Turkey, and even Europe?
Don't you find it stupid for a country like Jordan that is desperate to attract tourists to have such high room rates? How are we supposed to grow our tourism sector when we are more expensive than some of the better attractions in the region like Sharm, Turkey, Cyprus...etc?

Hey Laith,
From my experience in a travel agency here in Amman, I've noticed that the hotels ask higher prices to Jordanians than to foreigners which is not logical at all. It seems to me like they wanna keep Jordanian guests away from their establishments. Shame on them!
